Irwin B. Wedner

Irwin B. Wedner is Of Counsel to the Firm. 

 

Mr. Wedner was previously a partner at Zoffer & Wedner, a local Pittsburgh law firm. Mr. Wedner is a civil trial lawyer, representing plaintiffs over the last forty-eight (48) years. His litigation experience includes handling all types of litigation cases, principally personal injury suits, including auto accidents, slip and fall and premises liability suits, medical malpractice and product liability claims, as well as contract, real estate, commercial claims and wills and estates. He is legal counsel to a local real estate company and is a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Wedner is a life-long resident of Pittsburgh and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1962 from Duquesne University and a Doctor of Laws Degree from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1965, where he was managing editor of the Duquesne University School of Law Review, 196.3-1965.

Mr. Wedner is admitted to all trial courts in Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court and has litigated cases before the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Supreme and Superior Courts of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Commons Pleas Court of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section.

At Duquesne University, Mr. Wedner was a member of the Freshman Basketball Team and the Varsity Baseball Team and is a member of the United States Handball Association, having played handball and competed in tournaments for forty-seven (47) years.
